Barre (Ballet Tone)

Barre blends aspects of Ballet and Pilates into a high energy movement class that aims to improve your coordination and balance, helping create longer and leaner muscles.

My background as a professional dancer and Pilates instructor has enabled me to draw from these two disciplines and develop a challenging yet rewarding class that offers a full body workout, increasing your heart rate and burning calories. In this class you will explore ballet positions such as Pliés and static stretches, and easy to follow movement variations focusing on high reps with light resistance.  

I highly recommend combining this class with your Pilates training, especially if (like me) you are not a big fan of cardio workouts ! I find this ballet inspired class the best way to get my weekly cardio, keep my heart healthy and improve my endurance.

Suitable for all levels of physical fitness and pregnancy after your 12-week scan.
